Community Led Support Groups

Support groups can play a critical role in recovery, providing much needed connection, understanding, and space to process with others on similar journeys.

Below is a list of virtual support groups hosted by varying organizations throughout the community:

Most of these groups are free; an asterisk* denotes when there is a fee to participate.
Please be reminded that safety cannot be guaranteed in group settings; harm is a risk when doing the deep, intrapersonal, relational and systemic work of seeking healing and liberation. We encourage you to seek multiple forms of support to process any pain that might arise in group, and we invite you to use your voice to self-advocate (either to the group facilitator privately, or the group as a whole) if you are experiencing harm within a group.

  • Therapeutic yoga for individuals impacted by body image: virtual & in-person options, focus on meditation, connecting with your body and gentle movement with lots of options. 1st and 3rd Thursday of the Month, 6:15pm EST

  • Group Movement Meditation: guided movement practice, 60-minute virtual gathering for women of color only, offered by Kelsey Blackwell. Offered the second Thursday of each month at 11:00 a.m. PT
