About the Presenters: 

Carolyn Chaffee:  Carolyn Chaffee, MSRDN, CEDRD, opened the Nutrition Clinic, one of the first eating disorder clinics in upstate New York, over two decades ago. Recognizing the need for more intensive treatment and regional step-down programs, she also opened the Sol Stone Center, a partial hospitalization program, and intensive outpatient programs in Syracuse, Ithaca, and Binghamton.  She has also been part of Cornell's Healthy Eating Program since its inception and was the nutrition consultant for the 2004 women's Olympic crew team. She received her undergraduate degree from SUC Oneonta and her Master's degree from Marywood College. 

Jill Catherine: Founder of 44 Hearts and Spokesperson for Ophelia’s Place, Jill Catherine is a body image expert and educator, athlete, wellness fitness instructor, and communications professional. She has been working within the support/prevention/education arenas of eating disorders, body image, and body dissatisfaction, with Ophelia’s Place since 2003. She travels extensively lecturing, conducting interactive workshops, and coaching individuals within these content areas. She has been working within the health and fitness industry since 1997, and garners a bachelor’s degree in communications and sports information from Ithaca College.
